Our Labor.
We're bettering the lives of our neighbors in the Philippines.
We're striving to build a sustainable community in Boracay through the spreading of the gospel, by meeting common needs and by providing educational materials.
Strong Roots Ministries is based on the principle of Psalm 1:3. In the context of making disciples of Jesus Christ, our goal is to create a stable community that is spiritually healthy and self-sufficient.
To achieve this goal, we have started several different ministries, which include school programs (currently English and Sports), a mobile library (to further education), a community garden (to allow people to grow their own food), and now we're in the process of building a resort (to create jobs and generate a self-sustaining income to fund the ministries).
